The Research Assistant is an AI-powered tool to help social entrepreneurs analyse the social problems they aim to solve more efficiently and simplify the process of developing specific tools to gather evidence about their impact.
Launched at the start of the summer, the Research Assistant is a collaborative project with AI Sweden in the AI for Impact program aiming to leverage AI to enhance our mission.
Through this program, we collaborated with 3 brilliant students - Esther Flores Gonzalez, Andrea Toval and Robert Skoglund to develop the tool for our network of social entrepreneurs.
Our overarching goal is to tenfold our impact by 2030 where all forms of inequalities will be reduced, poverty eradicated, and the effects of climate change mitigated and prevented through social entrepreneurship.
The main objectives we want to achieve are:
Improve the usability of our toolkit platform with an AI-powered support chat.
Leverage the tool to make research more time-efficient.
Use the tool to identify the root causes of social problems.
Assist in identifying outcome indicators and existing measurement tools, and developing surveys.
Together with our partners, we are keen on providing relevant tools and bespoke scaling support to our local social entrepreneurs to achieve this goal and further innovate for the future. The Research Assistant is one such tool to strengthen and scale the work of our local entrepreneurs. It is a two-edged AI solution for social impact.
To mitigate this, the Research Assistant helps social entrepreneurs perform an intelligent search for trustworthy social data from authoritative sources in close-to-real time.
Enabling user-content interaction for our Toolkits Platform. By integrating the Research Assistant, we aim to deliver superior guidance to social entrepreneurs based on more than a decade of curating experiential knowledge of the ecosystem.
